The Morgan County Rescue Squad serves all 582 square miles of land in Morgan

        County and 17 square miles of water in the county, serving all of nearly 160,000

citizens. We are a unique agency, in that, we are the only agency in our County

that are highly trained and staffed in these specialty areas:

• Search and Rescue on Land, the Tennessee River and its Tributaries within Morgan County                

• Water Rescue and Diving Operations

• Dragging and Recovery Operations

• Provide Transportation for Doctors, Nurses, and other Health critical reasons during ice and snow storms                                     

• Evacuation and Rescue During Floods

• Rappelling and High Angle Rescue

• Cave Rescue, Search, and Recovery

• Emergency response to assist in evacuation in the event of a problem at  Browns Ferry          

• Assistance to all of the Morgan County Volunteer Fire Departments

• Assistance to any Law Enforcement agency within Morgan County

• Assistance to other counties as needed

• Provide EMT service to large public events
